Prof. Áine Hyland

Áine Hyland is Chair of the International Advisory Board of the (Irish) National Academy for the Integration of Research and Teaching and Learning. She is a member of the European Universities’ Association Institutional Evaluation Team.  

Áine recently retired as Professor of Education and Vice-President at University College Cork.  She has published widely in the area of educational history and policy and in recent years she has presented papers, nationally and internationally, on aspects of the scholarship of teaching and learning in higher education.
