EdTech2015 : Beyond the Horizon -Policy, Practice and Possibilities
Beyond the Horizon: Policy, Practice and Possibilities
Recent European and national policy reports have identified the enabling and transformative role of technology in supporting learning over the medium term at individual, institutional and sectoral levels.
At EdTech2015 we invite participants to consider the efficacy of these policies; to explore how they can be operationalised in practice; and highlight the challenges, opportunities and possibilities for learning in an ever changing Irish and international landscape.
Helping to inform this discussion will be the publication of the Horizon Report for Higher Education in Ireland which will be launched to coincide with EdTech2015 by New Media Consortium CEO (and EdTech2015 keynote) Prof. Larry Johnson.
Call for Contributions (deadline April 10th)
We are delighted to invite Irish and international participants to submit abstracts for inclusion to the sixteenth Annual Conference of the Irish Learning Technology Association. There will be opportunities for submitting and presenting (i) research papers (ii) practitioner papers (iii) Gasta (brief rapid-fire micro presentations) (iii) ePosters and (iv) Practice Exchange that relate to the conference themes from pedagogical, research, innovation, policy and organisational perspectives.
