Awards for Excellence in Teaching Working Group

The Excellence in Teaching Awards Working Group were tasked with the following:

  • development of principles to guide the process of establishing a national scheme of awards for teaching and learning in higher education
  • provision of advice on issues relating to the awards scheme
  • development of documents and criteria for assessment of applications for awards
  • making recommendation to the Management Board on the composition of the assessment board
  • monitoring and evaluation of the National Awards Programme for Excellence in Teaching

This year's ceremony will take place on 18th December 2009 at Dublin Castle.
