The call for expressions of interest has now closed. The National Academy received twenty responses for the call from higher education staff across a wide range of institutions in Ireland and internationally.
The objective of this initiative is to provide an overview of national and international policy and practice in relation to thematic areas relevant to the new National Academy for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning.
The thematic areas include the following:
Governance; Management and Administration; Organisational Structures; Funding; Awards Programme; Grants; Professional Standards Framework; Fellowships; Quality of Teaching and Learning; Informing Policy and Practice; Existing Projects; Evaluation, Other
Reports received under this initiative will be collated by NAIRTL into one composite report, which will be submitted to the HEA in an effort to inform the development of the new National Academy for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning.

8th March: evaluation and selection of submissions
12th March: notification to those who have expressed interest
16th April: completed papers to be submitted to NAIRTL
