
Review of NAIRTL awards initiative
NAIRTL has undertaken a review of its Teaching Awards initiative which ran from 2008-2012. The 40+ recipients of the National Awards for Excellence in Teaching have reflected on what impact the award has had on their teaching practice and their career trajectory. This report will be published on the NAIRTL website and will provide guidance for the Learning Impact awards being established by the National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning.
Review of the National Awards for Excellence in Teaching: new publication
Between 2008-2012 a total of 43 staff members across a wide range of Higher Education institutions and disciplinary areas were recognised and celebrated for their contribution to teaching excellence in Ireland. EuroSoTL 2015: full conference programme now available
The inaugural European Conference on the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning took place in Cork, Ireland from 8-9 June. The conference is a regional event of the International Society for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, and was open to all staff and students in Higher Education.
